I would like to know how/when I would know that st johns wort was ready to harvest, also what parts of it should I use?
Should it be used for tea or in a vaporizer? I am using it for a type of anxiety and I noticed in the studies they mention that an 0.3 % Hypericum, will that amount still be in homegrown st johns and if so how much of a plant should I use per dose/ Thank you for anyone able to answer any of these questios, sorry for the bombardment

St. John's Wort is harvested on December 21st on the northern hemisphere and on June 21 in the southern hemisphere.
Don't prepare it in a tea. The water and heat will exterminate the hyperforin. A vaporizer would be a better way to go. Even better would be to grind it up and eat it raw, on a salad, perhaps on a salad.

Hi, I'm just about to start growing SJW and have posted a thread on here about which variety to buy from seed. Would you have any info on this please ? BTW, pleased to "meet" you - it's my first post.
